The beginnings

Juan Manuel Acosta Mendoza started in the world of hotels in the year 1969 with a room in the town of Almendralejo. Later in the year 1970 he opened Hostal Valencia with 26 rooms, oriented to road customers, workers and the occasional commercial agent.

In 1980 Hotel Los ángeles was inaugurated with 21 rooms, expanding these to 33 in 1983. During all these years Juan Manuel Acosta established himself in Almendralejo as a young hotelier.

The first major project

In one of the years most remembered by us all, 1992, Hotel Acosta Vetonia opened its doors, the first major solo project of Mr. Acosta, with 30 rooms and large halls for conventions and banquets. In 1999 it was expanded to 62 rooms, creating a sports area and a spa.

Growing up to the City of Music

In a short time the hotel needs of Almendralejo are covered, and 2002 begins with the idea of building the first 4-star hotel in the town. Hotel Acosta Centro opens its doors in September 2006, with 115 rooms.

In 2009, the Hoteles Acosta group acquires a hotel in Villafranca de los Barros. Hotel Acosta Ciudad de la Música opened in 2010.
